So that also works with the MX Anywhere 2... With the MX Master, the rear button is used for switching - with this and the MX Anywhere 2, the mouse wheel is used (unfortunately, this does not allow the buttons to be placed on the wheel).
I have now connected my Anywhere 2S with my iPad and it works without any problems. You only have to activate AssistiveTouch in the settings and connect the mouse under AssistiveTouch/Pointing Devices/Devices (this is not possible directly in the Bluetooth settings).
The Logitech MX Anywhere (all generations) work well on a glass table. (According to Logitech, it only doesn't work on thin glass.) The Anywhere MX is my standard mouse for customers and everyone is happy with it, especially those with reflective paint on the table or a glass table.
Settings must be made via Logitech Options. Software must be installed. Scroll wheel Interverted or normal. I didn't realise this function existed either. Logitech is really good :)
The question would have been related to the keyboard -.- Logitech MX Keys Plus Swiss Layout (CH, Wireless)
Here is the answer from our department responsible: Yes, they would be able to connect both devices to the unified receiver that comes with Logitech MX Anywhere 2S. The Unified Receiver is compatible with any device that supports it, and these two products are.
No, the MX Anywhere 2S still comes with a USB-A dongle (Unifying). But the Bluetooth connection is very stable, I wouldn't say 100%, but 98% ;-) . Moreover, you can connect 3 devices with it and switch between them in a flash.
There are many comments on this in the customer reviews.
I assume with transmitter is the little thing that plugs into a USB port. This can be dipped without any problems as this mouse supports the Logitech Unifying standard. The mouse just needs to be paired with the new transmitter. This is easy, just start the Logitech Unifying software on your PC and follow the instructions. The software can be downloaded from Logitech if not available.
Hello Netpresent. https://www.digitec.ch/Comparison/6341477-11054266 According to the specs, the difference lies in the 4x higher mouse sensor resolution. For the application area of the mouse (desktop/office), the S is totally sufficient.
No, as far as I can see, these are also only available from the manufacturer as such and not specifically as a left-handed version.
no it's not like that with me. just tested it. scrolls/scrolls wonderfully
Yes, for example the Logitech G613. It can be operated via Bluetooth and via dongle. It has a switch to toggle back and forth and works very well. Battery life is also excellent.
No, unfortunately not.
No, unfortunately not, that can only be used to freak out. Unattractive, I agree.
Hi Fahradin, The Logitech Unifying Reveivers are not Bluetooth dongles. They emit a 2.4 GHz signal and work only with Logitech Unifying Devices. Nevertheless you can connect the mouse via Bluetooth if your PC Mainboard has a Bluetooth controller. The mouse has 3 connectable "ports" which you can switch between. Either connecting via bluetooth or a unifying dongle.
The mouse also comes with a USB Unifying receiver, which is not Bluetooth-based and is basically handled like a normal USB mouse. So if this doesn't work, I would talk to your company's IT department. After all, you want to improve the comfort of your workplace.
No, it's a normal USB plug. But if you have a Bluetooth-capable device (laptop, PC, etc.) with which you want to use this mouse, you don't necessarily need the plug. You can also connect the mouse directly via Bluetooth.
Unfortunately not.
Du solltest die Einstellungen in den Logitech Software anpassen. Hier findest du die anleitung von Logitech (http://support.logitech.com/en_us/article/How-to-customize-mouse-buttons-with-Logitech-Options)
This mouse can be used with or without a donkey. For the Mac, Bluetooth and OSX 10.10 or higher are required.
I would recommend the Logitech MX Anywhere 2S (wireless), because as far as I have seen, this mouse is either equally good or better in all points. E.g. higher maximum mouse sensitivity and 7x programmable buttons.
Yes, that should work.
The difference is the new "Flow" function. 2S is simply a product name, like Xbox One -> Xbox One X. Logitech Flow Smoothly control up to 3 computers with just one mouse, even copying and pasting text, images and files between devices. Logitech Options software required. Doesn't look like it, I didn't find any software for Linux on the download page. But if you're really interested, you can check out Synergy, a software that seems to do the same thing but doesn't need any special hardware. It also runs on Windows, OSX and Linux. I don't know the software, though, so I'd look into it more. https://symless.com/synergy (the site is a little slow) Hope I could help
This is a function that you can use with the optional software from Logitech. With only Plug&Play, you only have the functions of a standard mouse. You can find the latest software for this on the support page for the mouse: http://support.logitech.com/de_ch/product/mx-anywhere-2s-flow/downloads#
