Logitech M705 Marathon

The 'newer' one no longer has the side programmable button and the sliding shoes are different (smaller), if you want the prog. button you have to buy the next more expensive one. That they have kept the name despite the obvious downgrading is somewhat misleading and insidious.
Hello, yes, the buttons can be programmed, including the wheel. Works perfectly with the Logitech SW SetPoint.
I don't know if you can connect THE mouse with 3 3 UNIFYING RECEIVER because I don't know what 3 UNIFYING RECEIVER is. But have a look at the Logitech website or send the question directly to Logitech.
You can use any AA battery, but a "long lasting" battery is recommended. These simply last longer but are more expensive.
No is USB 2
Hello, yes it is compatible with everything. Even on my smartphone, no problem Have a nice evening
As far as I know, the Marathon is not available in ergonomic form. Personally, I use the MX Vertical https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/logitech-mx-vertical-kabellos-maus-9397107. I can only recommend it.
I guess they differ in capacity/run-time among other things like ergonomy of the buttons.
Nope, it only works with the provided Unify dongle.
Yes, the receiver is included.
A new transmitter is supplied with the mouse. If you use the old transmitter, the Logitech software unifying new paired should work, I did it too.
Yes is possible, install Logitech Unifying software and pair the mouse and keyboard.
Yes :-)
A receiver with USB A connection is included.
Yes, various settings can be made with the Logitech SetPoint software! https://support.logitech.com/de_de/article/14977?product=a0qi00000069ujEAAQ Personally, I like the MX Anywhere and MX Performance mice from Logitech even more! Compared to other brands, the M705 is an absolute "top mouse" for me, and Logitech also offers the MX series ..... ;-)
I have the same mouse and can define the key assignment as desired in the Logitech SetPoint settings. Perhaps you have not installed the Logitech software? Then it could be that Windows recognises the mouse as the "standard mouse".
Hello Anonymous Unfortunately, the mouse can only be used on a computer via USB receiver. Alternatively, you could use the Logitech MX Anywhere 2S (Wireless). This mouse would be Bluetooth compatible and also comes with a USB receiver for computers without Bluetooth. Greetings John
I have 2 pcs M705. One is four years old, the other four months. Both look exactly the same (except for the logo, the newer one has a different font, but it's not called "logi", but "logitech"). My old M705 didn't have a grey button 4 years ago. But both have more buttons than I need. Including 2 black ones by the thumb In general, I find the M705 ("Marathon Mouse") absolutely convincing, robust and durable. I would recommend it at any time.
No, this mouse does not support Bluetooth.
In fact, it is the same mouse. However, the manufacturer's number and the original packaging have been changed.
