I have connected the mouse. It works in principle, but the cursor jerks across the screen instead of running smoothly. How can I fix this?

Is the USB adapter (if I understand correctly, the signal receiver as a Bluetooth alternative) included in the scope of delivery or not? In the product description it is stated that it is available separately and in the specifications it says USB adapter under scope of delivery.
