This is a keyboard for Apple products; some of the special characters are laid out differently from the classic Windows keyboard. I would recommend inserting the required symbol via the tablet touch keyboard if characters are not available or have been swapped.
Unfortunately, I could not find any information, the reference used by us is also used by several other sites but does not exist on Logitech's site. While there is only one version of this keyboard, and the specifications are the same as on us and on other sites.
They must have made a revision to make it compatible with more devices, because on their site they say it is suitable with all iOS systems, including the iPad, whereas we when we added it had put iOS 5 and onwards. So the reference will have changed but we haven't updated our data.
Hello,
The description says that it is a CH keyboard, so QWERTZ. The pictures of the keyboard do not always show the right layout, you have to trust what is written in the specifications.
They are very different. US is a QWERTY Layout while the CH Layout is a version of QWERTZ
The CH Layout looks like this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki...
I was also able to connect my keyboard to my Android phone without any problems, so a tablet shouldn't be a problem either. The additional functions may be somewhat limited.
I ordered this keyboard for my mother, who still has a 1st generation iPad - works without any problems. Therefore, the 2nd generation should also get along well with it.
I no longer use the keyboard (Logitech K380 is better), but I remember that the charge was not even enough for 3 months when switched off. In use, it was only a few weeks.
This keyboard is simply designed for iPad's, you were lucky that it connected to the Dell Venue 8 at all. Maybe you can find new Bluetooth drivers from Dell for Windows 10 somewhere. Bluetooth doesn't work so well for me anymore since Windows 10 (Dell Inspiron 15 7548) but the update is still worth it.
Yes - the keyboard is compatible with iPad and iPadOS/iOS devices via Bluetooth and should work with a 9.7" iPad running iOS 16.7.12. Logitech states that the keyboard is designed for iPad and iPadOS devices and supports Bluetooth connectivity and Easy-Switch for multiple devices, allowing use with a 9.7" iPad and iOS/iPadOS versions.
I'm not entirely sure if Logitech explicitly mentions each individual iPadOS minor version (e.g. 16.7.12); the available documentation generically mentions compatibility with iPad/iPadOS via Bluetooth. If you want absolute certainty, I recommend briefly contacting the manufacturer's site or Logitech support.
Hello Pasci
I just had to practise a bit. But if you hold down "opt | ctrl" (key to the right of the space bar) and then press G, the @ appears. 👍🏼
I connected it on my iPad and it works great. Probably also depends on which device you are connected to and which keyboard layout you have set.
Greetings
