Yes, the microphone is detachable. The manufacturer's specifications list a detachable microphone with foam windscreen in the scope of delivery. Dealer and test descriptions also confirm that the microphone is detachable.
"PC gaming headset" is usually only optimised for PC (software features, USB connection).
The "PC/PS4/PS5 headset" is designed to work without restrictions on PlayStation (compatible connection/dongle, suitable firmware).
The battery life is up to 50 hours in wireless mode, depending on usage and volume. This runtime is realistic for relaxed listening, but slightly shorter for intensive gaming sessions. The headset can continue to be used while charging via USB-C.
Yes, you can also use the headset wired including microphone, for example at a LAN party. To do this, you need to switch off the headset and connect it using the 3.5 mm jack cable supplied. This way, both the sound and the microphone work wired. Please note that some functions such as Blue Voice microphone features or EQ settings are not available in this mode.
I have also connected my headset via dongle and have not had any interruptions so far. I connected the dongle directly to the PC, not to a hub - maybe that helps. Have you installed the G Hub software? If so, check if there is a firmware update for the headset. Sometimes this solves connection problems.

Yes, the Logitech G Pro X 2 Lightspeed Wireless Gaming Headset can be connected to a mobile phone, such as an iPhone, to make calls. The headset supports Bluetooth connections, which makes it possible to communicate with mobile devices and make calls.
The quality of the microphone isn't up to expectations for a headset like this, and I don't know whether firmware upgrades via the logitech G hub software will solve the problem. People can hear us just fine in-game though ;)
If not, you can replace the microphone with a better quality one from logitech: https://www.logitechg.com/fr-ch...
That's an expensive upgrade !!!
Hi - I have the wired and wireless version of these, and find them comfortable while wearing my glasses. They certainly don't press the arms of the glasses into your head like some headphones do.
The headset is wireless via USB Lightspeed dongel.
However, it can also be used via a 3.5mm jack. Then it is wired :) e.g. for consoles to the gamepad.
This headset is compatible with the following devices:
PC COMPATIBLE:
- PC with Windows® 10 or higher and USB 2.0 port.
- Internet access for Logitech G HUB software.
CONSOLE COMPATIBLE:
- PlayStation® 5
- PlayStation 4 (USB wireless stereo only)
- Nintendo Switch (wireless stereo sound when docked).
I was able to do some research and indeed the upgrade can be worthwhile, as new membranes have been installed for a better, clearer sound. The battery life has also been significantly improved. Other than that, there are no major changes apart from the usual improvements that are made in a generational change.
