It is the tactile version, like the G915. Unfortunately, only these are available in Switzerland so far. On Logitech's website, you can't even get either of the two keyboards with a Swiss layout (!), which I find quite strange. So far, I have searched in vain for information on whether and when the Clicky and Linear variants will be available...

Instead of a palm rest, I use a large mouse mat that also has room for the keyboard: Logitech G G840 (XL) Otherwise, there are also hand rests like this one in the mouse mat category: Deltaco Gaming Keyboard Palm Rest (L) But I can't judge how well they fit.

Exactly the same thing happened to me today with the G915. One pin of the left shift key broke off. Luckily it happened just 4 months before the warranty expired... Logitech does not supply individual parts, as I was told on the Logitech phone. It's a bit embarrassing when you have to replace the whole keyboard because a small piece of plastic broke off. Well, I hope the keyboard lasts another 2 years.

Unfortunately, we do not offer individual replacement keys for this keyboard. Regarding a warranty, the responsible service centre will decide whether it is a warranty case or rejected due to external damage.

They should fit on the switches, i.e. on Logitech GL switches (low profile). There are people who say that these are Kailh choc switches, but the special keys and space etc. in particular have different dimensions and stabilisers. So if it works, it probably won't work for all keycaps. I haven't tried this myself, because I'm very happy with the LG keys so far.

Yes, you can turn off the backlight without having the G-Hub software installed. At the top of the keyboard there is a brightness adjustment button that allows you to adjust the brightness in 5 steps until OFF.

It's very personal really. Some people prefer to play with it and others without. Personally, I used to play very well without it, however, since I got a wrist rest I can't play without it. I use the one that comes with the Corsair K95 which is plastic and not smooth. I don't use anything on the mouse side though.

This is not possible in the associated software "Logitech G Hub". I have not looked for possibilities outside the software. You can programme the keys G1 to G5 per mode. You can switch between three modes on the keyboard (M1 to M3).

Hello Freezse, When you get a chance: Try a keyboard with the lowprofile Kailh brown choc switches like the G815 & G915 have. I just bought one and was surprised how linear the switches feel. Much less bumpy than I thought. That might suit you. I guess the Kailh low profile switches are different than the normal high profile ones and especially different than the cherry ones. aloha Pete (PS: need this thing on a Mac - just swapped ALT-Command keycaps and loaded the right layout - fits perfectly!

As long as you connect the additional USB cable to your PC, which supplies the USB port on the keyboard with power, this is possible without any problems. I have a G513 here with a G703 mouse receiver plugged in, which works wonderfully (with my MX Master 3 it also works, of course).

Hello, so all the keyboards that logitech offers for the Swiss market (Qwertz) with the accents for the French speaking people are in touch. It's not a good idea to have a Swiss keyboard, even if it's a Swiss company, because even on their official website they don't offer a Swiss keyboard for these models. So basically if you want something else than touch for this model you have to go for a German or English version.
