I use the keyboard mainly "in everyday life" - i.e. text programmes, internet, graphics programmes, etc.. But certainly also for gaming. I find it very pleasant for typing, but it takes a little time to get used to it. But you get used to it quickly. If you don't necessarily want coloured key illumination, the G610 would certainly be a cheaper alternative.
