No. Only the bottom of the mat is blue and is made of a durable material.

It is often advised to clean mouse mats with a cloth or sponge. Simply use warm water and liquid soap to wash away the dirt. After that, you just have to let it dry out. Here is an illustrated guide: https://de.wikihow.com/Ein-Mauspad-reinigen
Maybe a new version? I think the price is still okay.
