The extreme pro here doesn't have force feedback, mine doesn't either and it's been lying around for a while now. I think you bought a different model in 2020 😀
Yes, it could, but it is not ergonomically very comfortable and not as fast as a Logitec dual action pad or similar. Flightstick is ideal for FlightSIM. greetings RCW
Certainly not the most practical variant, but quite possible. You may have to fix the joystick a little better, because you probably "pull" on it more than a simulation pilot. Furthermore, it should be noted that "letting go" could cause the joystick to wobble back and forth minimally while centring. Saying: Adjust the deadzone. (Or use your own physical construction to prevent the stick from overshooting the centre point).
There are people who have "converted" this joystick to a handbrake in order to have an even better feeling or immersion. However, a lot of things can get broken in the process and the warranty will probably be voided.
-> Yes it works.
-> You wouldn't be the only one.
It's up to you whether you're happy with it or annoyed that you didn't save up for a "real" one.
According to statements in forums, it has run at least once on Mac, but we cannot make a binding statement; in any case, there is no more information about it on the official manufacturer's website.
