I'm not entirely sure if the Astro A50 Gen5 supports HFP/HSP telephony profiles for calling. The available information shows that the headset has Bluetooth 5.4 and can connect to mobile devices, but specific details on telephony profiles are not included in my data. I recommend you visit the official Logitech G website or contact customer support to clarify this technical issue.

It's not a bad headset. You can have fun with it.
But it is a piece of plastic with mediocre speakers. The mic is very good.
Spend a little more and you get a Beyer. Add a Soundblaster (not Windows on board) and you have real quality on your head and ultimately in your ears.
Connect the headset to your PC via the base station. Connect the base station to your PC using the USB-C cable supplied, make sure the headset is fully charged and place it in the magnetic charging cradle. After pairing, you can use the headset wirelessly.

Yes, you can use this wireless headset on PS5 and Xbox Series X, as it is officially compatible with both consoles.
For the PS5 and Xbox Series X, the connection is via USB-C directly on the base, making it easy to switch between the platforms thanks to the PLAYSYNC AUDIO function.
Please note: the game/chat mixer works on Xbox Series X and PC, but not on PS5 with this version of the headset.
