Can anyone tell me their experience regarding battery life? And does it need a jack cable when used with the xbox?

Battery lasts a long time, I would say around 10 hours. If you forget to charge it, it can also be charged via micro-usb, e.g. with a powerbank. No, no more cables to the Xbox controller as previously necessary on the 360. USB and optical cable to the Xbox One and that's it. I am absolutely satisfied with this product. For example, you can locate the steps of the opponents in Call of Duty (WW2 and BO4) very well.

I have sound drop-outs about every 30 seconds for 1-2 seconds. -Both cables connected correctly -firmware is up to date -base station switch is set to xbox

The headphones have two possible causes: the optical cable is kinked or dirty, so clean the connections with a photo brush or other clean brush and test another cable. Secondly, the radio connection - how far is the distance? The range of the product compared to others is rather modest. Therefore, place the station a little further away from all electrical and wifi devices.

The PS4 version is 50 Fr. more expensive. Is the difference between the two just that one is for the XBOX and the other for the PS4 or do they have other differences? Do both versions have the charging station included?

Hello The only difference between the versions is that one is for PS4 and the other is for XBox. The charging station is included with both.

I would like to use the headset with my PC. Do I have any functional disadvantages compared to the X-Box? I also saw an optical input and output in the pictures. Can I connect another sound system via this and use the output as a pass-through?

No, there is only a compatibility difference between XBOX and PS4. The compatibility for the computer is supported by both versions. Accordingly, there are no functional disadvantages.
