How big is the mains adapter? Can other devices be plugged in on the power strip? E.g. on both sides next to this mains adapter or only on one side.

The power supply unit is 6 cm wide (!) and thus covers the two adjacent slots on the power strip on one side. As the power supply unit has two poles, it can be placed on both edges of the power strip, where it then protrudes over the side and does not cover any slots.

The product description says that this USB hub would have 7 ports, but I only see 5 ports on the front. Are the remaining 2 ports visible on the other side? I just think it's a shame that they often skimp on the pictures at digitec. I would be very pleased to receive a quick reply.

Yes, the remaining two USB ports are on the other side. On the right side is the power connector and the USB connector to the computer. PS: Digitec can only display the pictures provided by the manufacturer.

Sorry, meant to ask a question, not give an answer.... My printer has a USB 2.0 type B output. The input of the switch is a USB 3.0 Micro-B. The cable supplied is a USB 3.0 Micro-B to USB 3.0 Type A. How do I bring the two together :-) Can't find a cable from USB 3.0 Micro-B to USB 2.0 Type B. I have a cable from USB 2.0 type B to USB 2.0 type A. If there is no cable - is there an adapter from type A to type A?

I don't know exactly what you have in mind, but it doesn't work like that. You connect the hub to a PC with the supplied cable (Micro-B to A). Then you can connect the printer to one of the 5 type A connections. To do this, however, you need a type B to A cable, which is supplied with every printer. (Alternatively, Digitec does of course have such cables on offer: https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/219717)
