The power supply unit is 6 cm wide (!) and thus covers the two adjacent slots on the power strip on one side. As the power supply unit has two poles, it can be placed on both edges of the power strip, where it then protrudes over the side and does not cover any slots.

Yes, the remaining two USB ports are on the other side. On the right side is the power connector and the USB connector to the computer. PS: Digitec can only display the pictures provided by the manufacturer.

I don't know exactly what you have in mind, but it doesn't work like that. You connect the hub to a PC with the supplied cable (Micro-B to A). Then you can connect the printer to one of the 5 type A connections. To do this, however, you need a type B to A cable, which is supplied with every printer. (Alternatively, Digitec does of course have such cables on offer: https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/219717)
