If you already have a receiver from Swisscom, for example, you can simply connect the monitors to it. You can use your favourite monitor for this. :)

Yes, it works very well: the monitor is hooked to the stand with a snap lock at the back, as with most LCDs, and the base is mounted with a retractable thumbscrew (requires no tools).
