As I see it, there is the standard version, which is currently on sale. There is also the white colour version for 69.- and then the version with 10 pieces as a minimum order quantity for 59.-. Important, in the area of wallets I would not use "used" ones, unless you are 100% sure that nothing has been tampered with. IMO, they can't, so make sure everything is fresh. Be your own bank, means also has to bear the full responsibility, for that there is a piece of independence and hedge against the collapsing FIAT system. Have fun

You can use the private key to restore to a software or hardware wallet with the standard (BIP32/BIP39/BIP44) at any time. Link to the Ledger support website: https://support.ledger.com/hc...

According to consultation, this should work if it is one of these currencies Ripple, Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ubiq, Bitcoin Cash, Komodo, Zcash, Ethereum Classic, Ether, Vertcoin, Stellar, NEO, Dash, but we cannot guarantee this 100% at this stage. However, once it is out of the ICO phase, there might be an update and then it will go. :)

As you have already noted, there is only one oficell channel in Switzerland. I assume that Digitec obtains the Ledger from such a channel and does not order it from somewhere in China. To prevent counterfeiting, Leder also uses a private key to check the software: https://blog.ledger.co/2015... https://support.ledgerwallet.com/hc... and yes, I also got mine from Digitec, my trusted dealer :-)
