Does anyone here know whether the ledgers at Galaxus are purchased directly from the manufacturer? Then I could save that for the next device. The packaging looks impeccable, but that's not very meaningful.

Since you can return all versions of the Ledger (10% discount if the package is opened), I would EVER take this step. Even if Galaxus enjoys your trust, they will hardly throw away the returns. They are more likely to shrink-wrap them in plastic film.
