I assume you mean the following product: Thermal Grizzly Intel 12th Gen. CPU Contact Frame We recently added this to our range.
Good day innofeld, thank you very much for the advice. As a beginner in the field, this is new to me. So far, the paste has not caused any problems.
Hmm... To my knowledge, the only paste that causes scratches was IC Diamond. I've used Kryonaut for years on everything from PCs, laptops, smartphones to consoles. Never had scratches in it. Is it possible that your cooler already had paste on it from the factory and you overlooked it and mixed Kryonaut on top? Some coolers have that. To answer the question. Yes, the paste is there to fill the scratches and imperfections. It should hardly be noticeable to you thermally, unless they are real canyon scratches.
Hoi Kirekt1 No, that can't be. You don't have to pay postage when you pick it up. It's best to call customer service, there's probably a mistake in the shop :)
This is thermal paste for low-temperature cooling such as nitrogen or compressor cooling.
Because almost no one will need 11g. 5.5g is already a lot. That's why many will go for 5.5g and still pay more.
Yes, of course! But there will certainly be a surcharge of 9.- if you only order that alone.
Hi I always use kitchen paper and isopropyl alcohol or rubbing alcohol. After cleaning, the remaining alcohol evaporates and no residue remains. A few drops on the paper should be enough.
Should easily be enough. Have fun
Terve. I have never used the Thermal Grizzly myself, but from the hardware (midrange APU + large cooler) I would say that it is not worth changing WLP. The AS 5 is a good WLP in itself and even if the temperatures should be slightly better, this does not make the processor faster. Even with an overclock, the performance increase is minimal. Sayonara! Shadow
Yes, Kryonaut is not electrically conductive. -> https://www.thermal-grizzly.com/produkte/2-kryonaut
