The grill plate is easy to clean and so far there is no sign of wear - I would buy two if I were you. I think the product is really top!

No, you need a power socket for it.
Included is a cable for the socket and a cable to connect the two units. So if you buy an additional connection cable, you can use both separately on two tables. We had the Koenig Duo, but I wouldn't buy it again. The topping comes off relatively quickly and the frying surface on top is too small. The whole table is full of grease splatters at the end, so I bought a new raclette oven in a normal shape :)
