I want to procure an external fingerprint product for use with my PC. The fact that Windows 10 can be opened is described in most of them. I can't keep up with the gibberish about the other capabilities. - What do I have to consider to be sure that the product can also address my password managers (Google, Bitwarden)? - Are there any restrictions on the PC side? -Which of the products offered is best suited for me (Kensingten VeriMArk, Inline USB, others?)?

I am satisfied with the Kensington Verimark, it works reliably as a fingerprint sensor under Win10prof.

Impossible to install it on a fixed PC under Windows 11, a real pain. I tried to do the installations manually or automatically, nothing happens, always this cursed yellow triangle which is there. Now I give up.

This product is not normally supposed to work on a fixed PC. Also, if you are talking about the network triangle, please note that this is a security product and not a network adapter.

Has anyone been able to install it on a fixed PC? I can't, I still have a yellow triangle on the device and it doesn't work. I'm on Windows 11, I tried to do it manually but nothing to do. If anyone has any ideas I'd love to hear them.

According to the product information, it appears to be compatible with Windows 7, 8 and 10. The software for this adapter may not be available for Windows 11.

Can the dongle also be used to log on to a NAS distortion? usable? (network drive linked in Exlorer). Or does it only work for the WIN10 User- and the Internet logins? Thanks in advance for your short feedback

Do I have to log in on the PC for Windows + Google + Facebook each time, or is 1 x log in sufficient for all per PC session for all services together?

I assume if you stay as "logged in", you don't have to re-register every time :) But with a bit of luck, someone else will get in touch with your question.
