Can the dongle also be used to log on to a NAS distortion? usable? (network drive linked in Exlorer). Or does it only work for the WIN10 User- and the Internet logins? Thanks in advance for your short feedback

I use this fingerprint scanner not only for Windows Hello but also for logging on to my NAS (Synology). In order for the NAS credentials to be applied correctly, you have to store your NAS username and password in the Windows Credentials Manager. Then it works perfectly.

So the question can hardly be answered like that. I have no idea whether the SMB protocol (via which Windows shares are usually integrated) even allows this. In any case, it would have to be a feature that is supported by the respective NAS. So study the documentation of the respective NAS product and ask there if necessary.

Hello Fossybär , only need the Fingerkey for Windows10 Hello. There is a password manager.

I have no experience with NAS. Sorry.
