Not sure if this is the same model as mine.... Visually it looks the same, means the same, same price, but with my Diascop it has no on/off switch, but is connected directly with the cable (fixed to the unit) to 220Volt (i.e. without batteries). Also, in contrast to this model, the "slide collection container" is permanently installed on the base of my model. In any case, the current Diascop has a photo without a collecting tray. Slides can only be inserted one at a time and released with the button so that the slide falls into the container at the bottom. Depending on the thickness of the slide, there is room for between 4 and 5 slides in the container, after which the container must be emptied again. There may be different versions....., as it says in brackets in the title (Diverse). Unfortunately I can't say anything about the HAMA product, as I have the Kaiser. I hope I was able to help a little anyway....
Loosen a screw on the housing, then you can easily remove it, the lamp can then be unscrewed very easily.
