Unfortunately, this is not mentioned in any documentation that I know of or that is supplied. Changing the JB2 charging mode from "Standard" to "EARTH-OFF" is necessary to operate the JB2 on the Juice Phaser.

On the JB2 at 16 Apere it says EARTH OFF in yellow, actually not so difficult but unfortunately not described in the manual... First plug the JB2 with the adapter into the socket and hold down the MODE button until the yellow LED lights up. Then press briefly to select EARTH OFF. Confirm by pressing and holding MODE, and you are ready to charge the phaser.
