Product details

Single-phase electric cars can now charge almost twice as fast: Instead of the previous maximum of 3.7 kW, the Juice Phaser allows for charging at 5.8 kW - with only 16 amps of network load. Completely safe: There is no risk of unacceptable imbalances in the power grid thanks to the Juice Phaser. Many buildings are equipped with 25 amps. The Juice Phaser delivers 25 A for single-phase charging from a 16 A three-phase outlet. This ensures there is enough energy for other tasks. With a 16 A supply line (red, three-phase), the Juice Phaser can provide up to 25 A for single-phase electric cars. Communication regarding the higher charging current occurs via the Juice Connector plug at the mobile charging station Juice Booster 2. It is waterproof according to IP65 standards. Compatible with all single-phase electric cars via Type 1 or Type 2 connectors. Cars like the Jaguar I-Pace, Nissan Leaf, Hyundai Ioniq and Kona, Kia Soul and e-Niro, Opel Ampera-E, and many other electric vehicles can only charge single-phase from a standard power grid. The result: an extremely long charging time. For example, the Opel Ampera-E takes 15 hours to fully charge. Until now, faster charging was only possible with direct current, but the charging stations for that cost ten to twenty times more than those for alternating current. Imbalances over 16 amps are prohibited in most countries. In Switzerland, the limit is currently still at 20 amps, but the adjustment to 16 amps (for electric mobility) has already been decided. With the Juice Phaser, you can still draw 25 A worry-free and in compliance with regulations.
