Yes - it has a small tripod plate that screws onto the camera. This plate can then be slid onto the tripod together with the camera.

Hello, The GorillaPod is mainly suitable for small and light cameras. If the camera weighs more than 500 g, it becomes quite unstable.
In picture 2 you can see an insert with a locking screw. You screw this part onto the GoPro and slide it into the GoProPad. It works perfectly.
Personally, I have used it for a GoPro...it carries the tripod without any problems. Larger compact cameras (especially with zoom lens) are probably too heavy...would then rather go for the larger version (DLSR-compatible)...
