Questions about JBL Flip 5

Not a question, but a warning to potential buyers if you already own JBL speakers: This speaker no longer has "Connect+", but now has "Partyboost". According to JBL, this feature will NOT be passed on to other speakers via an update (because the hardware does not allow this). This means that your existing JBL speakers cannot be connected to the Flip 5 in party mode and play music together. Therefore, the Flip 5 is only recommended for new customers.

To all those who want to operate 2 JBL Flip 5 with an iPhone 11 pro Max or iPad pro latest generation in stereo mode. Connection was unstable with my IOS devices, always had sound dropouts. Solution Connect both JBL Flip 5 with the iPhone via Bluetooth. Then set both Flip 5s to stereo mode using the JBL Connect app. Important: If the connection is now unstable, check which of the speakers is the primary one. Now manually disconnect the "other" speaker in the phone's Bluetooth settings and it will work.

Is there a switch-off sound when the unit switches off automatically?

Is it possible to deactivate the automatic switch-off? Because if I don't listen to music for a short time, all the boxes switch off and I have to switch them on again individually and connect them.

New update with equalizer? But I don't see one?

Is there a difference in quality between the different colored models? Are internal parts different? Or are the different prices based only on the colors? Thanks.

Does the JBL FLIP 5 actually have a hands-free function? The JBL website itself states that this model does not have such a function.

According to the specifications, no charger is included. The power consumption is 20 watts when playing music. Is a conventional charger, such as the one for the iPad/iPhone, suitable for charging?

Does the Flip 5 actually have 2.1 channel output and is a stereo speaker? Everywhere else I read that it is mono.

Does it have a 3.5mm jack or not? It still says so in the specifications and is the deciding factor for me!

I ordered the speaker because 1x 3.5 mm jack line in is shown in the specifications. Unfortunately, I could not find this connection and am therefore sending it back, as this was the purchase criterion for me. Can the specifications please be adjusted so that others do not suffer the same fate as me? Thank you!
