I can only agree with Gabor.Iaszlo, 1A device! Regarding the components I had to search a bit at Digitec, I installed the following (very simple): RAM: Corsair Vengeance (1x, 16GB, DDR4-2400, SO-DIMM 260 pin) SSD: Intel 660p - Retail (2048GB, M.2 2280)
An Asus 230W power adapter should also work: ASUS 0A001-00390000 AC Adapter (230W)
Yes, it comes with an adapter plate. I only noticed late that it seems to have one direction, it holds very well when the side with the many connections is down and somewhat less well the other way round.
Yes, I have installed a Samsung 970 EVO Plus M.2 2280 and it works perfectly. The write and read rates promised by Samsung are (largely) achieved in a test with CrystalDiskMark.
Yes, it works, I have also installed the same module. I would recommend Corsair Ram
It's possible, but you have to check the specification of your USB-C cable, if it does support display signal.
The box definitely gets off the ground quite quickly when rendering. Of course, there are more powerful PCs, but I haven't regretted the price-performance ratio for a second.
According to my informations, it's 100V-240V 50/60Hz.
Yes, it is. https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/products/boards-kits/nuc/kits/nuc8i7hvk.html
Ja, die gibt es. -> https://www.notebookcheck.com/Test-Intel-Hades-Canyon-NUC8i7HVK-i7-8809G-Radeon-RX-Vega-M-GH-Mini-PC.293536.0.html#toc-emissionen-hades-canyon-ist-etwas-leiser
Basically, you should be able to handle any M.2 in this device. I have both a SATA and a PCIe M.2 installed in my NUC, and both run without any problems. If you want to be on the safe side, choose one of the ones tested by Intel: http://compatibleproducts.intel.com/ProductDetails?activeModule=Intel®%20NUC#
That's right, I saw the old price like that too. But if you compare the shops in Switzerland and Germany, the price is still ok. The cheapest shop in Germany wants even more money for it. Ok if you do the stress with 19% back etc. you might be a tad cheaper. Currently it's just a brand new on the market and everyone wants to pay high prices for it.
Unfortunately, our supplier does not have any information about the delivery date at the moment. However, he has the possibility to enter the delivery date directly in our system as soon as he has further information.
as it looks you still have to equip this computer with RAM...with a maximum of 32gb on 2 sockets are feasible https://ark.intel.com/products/126143/Intel-NUC-Kit-NUC8i7HVK
It is a barebone. Ram, hard disk and OS still have to be purchased.
