That's a good question - there is usually a heat-conducting paste with the cooler. But I can't really say for sure. However, I would recommend that you do not install a CPU cooler that is already included, as these are usually very loud.

Unlocked means that the multiplier of the processor is not locked. This means that you can enter the multiplier yourself in the BIOS. This makes it easier to overclock the processor. If you don't want to do this, you can safely take the cheaper, locked model. No, it has a different socket than mobile processors. For example, you could use an i7-6700HQ. But I think you can only buy the i7-6700HQ second-hand (e.g. Ricardo, Ebay).
