A direct connection without a smartphone or tablet is not possible. - You can start live streams on platforms such as YouTube, Facebook and Weibo by using the app and making the appropriate settings. It is therefore not possible to stream outside without a connection to a smartphone or tablet. The use of a smartphone or tablet is required to use the livestream function of the Insta360 Go 3.

Camera has no GPS. I am not aware of any other localisation system

Unfortunately, this is not possible, as the black version comes from another supplier who has higher conditions. As long as these do not change, the black version will remain at the same price. It was delivered with the Action POD, the magnetic collar (and a wedge to adjust the angle of the camera), an adhesive pad for smooth surfaces that can be used several times and a mini holder with a threaded hole (for a tripod). A tripod is not included.

I don't have the remote control, but in the release notes of the latest firmware it says that the remote control of the X3 including GPS data now works. The Apple Watch also works as a remote control.
