The window cleaning robot has a wiping width of 29 cm and a width of 13.5 cm. This makes it suitable for windows with panes around 30 cm wide, as the wiping width is almost the same as the window width. The width of the device itself is 13.5 cm, which means that it can also be positioned well on narrow window frames. This model is therefore suitable for very narrow windows around 30 cm wide, as it covers the area with a wiping width of 29 cm. Other devices with a similar or smaller wiping width would also be suitable, although the exact suitability depends on the window width and the frame. This model is also a mains-powered appliance without a battery, which speaks in favour of stationary use. To summarise: The Hutt DDC55 window cleaning robot can clean windows with a width of approx. 30 cm and is therefore well suited for your narrow windows.

The cable of the window cleaner has a length of 5 metres. This mains connection cable is supplied with the device and enables the power supply during operation.

The discs should be dry. I personally fill the enclosed spray bottle with a mixture of water and methylated spirits and moisten the microfibre cloths (4-5 sprays per cloth). It's best to start on the inside first - as the dirt is usually stronger on the outside. If the outside is still a little smudged after the first cleaning process (this was the case for me as the windows had not been cleaned for some time), apply fresh cloths and repeat. As 6 sets are included, you can also change them more often. The cloths can be washed at 60 degrees, ideally in a washing bag - e.g. Casativo laundry bag set - and only together with other microfibre cloths (cotton would get caught in the microfibres and the cloths would wear out sooner).

I bought the DDC55 mainly to clean the glass roof. It works, but it's a bit disorientated upside down, i.e. it doesn't clean in a controlled manner like it does on a vertical surface and it never reports that it's finished. But if it cleans for long enough, it gets everywhere. For me it's ok, much easier than cleaning by hand.

No, you can't use it without a cable. The battery mentioned in the description only serves to give the owner a few seconds to take the part off the window in the event of a power failure before it falls and falls and collides with other objects or subjects. I find it incomprehensible that Galaxus does not describe it this way.
