According to the media, the GT will unfortunately only be available in Switzerland with a silicone sports wristband. But I personally find that much more hygienic. But you can certainly order them abroad. The wristbands are standardised, so many wristbands from other manufacturers will also fit.
You get a charging cable that you can connect to a charging pad. There, however, the ur is charged via two contacts. Unfortunately, charging via an induction charging station is not possible. You can't charge it on the new Huawei Mate 20 Pro either.
But I have to say that I have had the watch on my wrist for 5 days now and still have the initial charge from unpacking it. I have only switched off the heart rate monitor. The rest is active.
The first and most important point is the fact that the watch is not from Apple and the OS is much more efficient. Hence the advantage over the other Android watches.
Huawei has written its own OS. It's the most energy-efficient solution. And the brightness sensor is also very helpful.
Besides, not all displays are the same. For example, the watch with standard sensors switched on and Allways On Display including notifications lasts about 7-8 days.
Conclusion. Better programmed OS + suitable sensors + energy-saving CPU = profit ;)
