Either the information that the watch has a display is not correct, or that the battery life lasts over 700 hours is not correct... Can someone briefly explain to me how this works?

Helpful answer

The first and most important point is the fact that the watch is not from Apple and the OS is much more efficient. Hence the advantage over the other Android watches.
Huawei has written its own OS. It's the most energy-efficient solution. And the brightness sensor is also very helpful.
Besides, not all displays are the same. For example, the watch with standard sensors switched on and Allways On Display including notifications lasts about 7-8 days.
Conclusion. Better programmed OS + suitable sensors + energy-saving CPU = profit ;)

PS: and yes. It's best to get excited about every little mistake in the product description. There are supposed to be people who automatically realise that 2400 hours of runtime with full sensor activation probably means minutes, since the next item, standby, is given as 700 hours.
Yes, well, logical thinking and flaming just don't go together.

Reading correctly helps, of course.
Logically, the smartwatch has a display. At the same time, however, it has a sensor that regulates the brightness. The darker the display, the longer the battery lasts.
And why shouldn't it run for up to 700 hours? The question is always, what do you do with the watch? How often do you look at it? Which sensors are working, is GPS active.
It's like a smartphone. Depending on what you do with it, the battery may or may not last longer.
