Is there an option to upgrade to Android 9?

Hi RoseNGarten19 I just had the P20 Lite automatically upgraded to the Android 9 (Pie) system 3 days ago. But the feature set of Android 9 has been massively cut on these smartphones. Differences are hardly visible! You can find out more here: https://www.netzwelt.de/huawei-p20-lite/169568-p20-lite-android-9-so-stand-rollouts-deutschland.html

Yep daily. It's quite a cramp... meeeega slow. The phone is sometimes not working at all or very slowly when I'm in navi mode... Generally, the range of functions is very limited... Spotify, navigation and phone... that's really it... I had a Samsung S8 in use for a short time and I had the feeling that it runs much better. The CPU is probably too weak here somehow. A "Best phone for Android Auto" review would be great....

Without, and I also strongly advise against buying a device where you have to tinker with something (instructions are available, but as I said, this is anything but recommended). A better phone would be the Pocophone X3 Pro. It has 6GB RAM, 128 GB storage, better cameras, a very large battery and costs only 259 francs: Xiaomi Poco X3 Pro (128 GB, Frost Blue, 6.67 ", Hybrid Dual SIM, 48 Mpx, 4G)
