Does anyone know why the Nova 2 was only available for a short time and whether it will be on sale again? I know that the Nova 3 is coming out in the meantime. But it has a display that is far too large for my liking.

Nova 2 is very good and cheap. I assume that Huawei simply wants to earn more with Nova 3 without generating added value. I don't want a bigger display, it doesn't fit in my pocket anymore!

I noticed that the SIM card unlocks automatically after starting. Is this normal? I have never had this with a mobile phone before! To check, switch off the phone and leave it for a few minutes after restarting. After that, the SIM card is unlocked without entering a PIN. The system PIN is still requested, but still. I find that strange and risky. The software is up to date.

No, that's strange. For me, at least, I have to enter the SIM unlock pin and the system pin every time, even if I leave the device for a few minutes after starting it up...

Can I install the SIM card from my old smartphone in this model (both Nano-SIM)? Will the phone number remain the same? With my old smartphone, I used prepaid from Sunrise. Is this related to the SIM card and would this also be possible on the Huawei Nova 2?

Good evening. You simply insert the existing SIM card into this phone and you will automatically be able to use the same number on the new phone. No problem. The phone number remains the same.
