Huawei Mate 20 Pro

the Mate 20 pro uses the charging socket and the earpiece (or whatever the thing is called) as a speaker. Sound quality and volume are quite ok! (even when the device is connected to the charging cable).
no because I am a private person, this mate 20 is for me
Don't buy it. The US sanctions won't go away anytime soon.
I can recommend this Digitec article: https://www.digitec.ch/de/page/huawei-vs-usa-90-tage-aufschubfrist-huawei-ceo-spricht-12087
Hey YaPaY, yes there is a notification LED. To right of the top speaker. But it's not as big as the Galaxy S5 one.
I have had the phone since day one and ordered it from digitec and was not affected. However, the affected phones can be exchanged without any problems.
No, unfortunately not...
oops, the question got into the wrong sector, just ignore the question
The sanctions mainly affect new devices. Those that were already available before will continue to receive updates. The Mate 20 Pro should also receive the Android 10 version (or its modified EMUI version from Huawei) as planned... Long story short: Yes, I would still recommend the Huawei Mate 20 Pro if it meets your needs.
If you want to buy this phone, I would do without the additional service. According to various insiders, the update to Android 10 for the 20 series is coming this November. The beta version is already available for the Mate 20 Pro, which you can install yourself if you can't wait until the end of the month ;)
Unfortunately not.
Yes, you can expand the memory. (With a nano SD card)
Since we cannot guarantee that the next product will not also be affected, we advise you to send the mobile phone directly to the Service Centre. They will test the phone thoroughly before sending it back. Thanks for the info!
This has a normal "lithium ion battery". These new "Carbeon fibre batteries" are still a long way from being installed in smartphones.
