To connect to which device? A DisplayPort cable is already included in the scope of delivery.

In my experience, connection cables are not usually supplied with monitors and must be purchased separately.

Yes and no. Cables are usually supplied (I have never had a monitor in its original packaging without a connection cable), but not always the ones you need (e.g. VGA or DVI if you want HDMI or DP). For this monitor, HP states on its own website that a DisplayPort 1.2 cable is included.
