HP Reverb VR1000-200nn
HP Reverb VR1000-200nn
According to my information, this is the consumer version. Manufacturer's website: https://store.hp.com/GermanyStore/Merch/Product.aspx?id=2CZ77EA&opt=ABB&sel=ACC
According to Sebastian Angst, only the new model comes with a clip that prevents the connection cable to the PC from detaching from the short connection cable of the headset. This clip was included with the HP Reverb I received from Digitec, i.e. it is the new model. Accordingly, I could not notice any display flickering or mura effects.
Nein, das WMR Headset nutzt inside-out tracking
The week of production (30 or newer) is obviously relevant. Apart from that, the consumer version (offered here at digitec) and the pro version will have different serial numbers. But I don't know that because I don't have a "Pro". Mine (here from digitec) has week 30, no 931 number and runs absolutely perfectly.
So far, we are not aware of any problems with the item, and since we only released it at the end of June, we have not yet received any feedback from customers. However, if there is a problem with the article, you are welcome to report it to our customer service department by e-mail at digitec@digitec.ch and we will then inform you of how to proceed.
I found the answer on the internet. It is an intermediate model: the new model will be launched in a long time. It is reserved for American citizens only. This means that it will be difficult to offer it for sale in Europe before 6 months.
The "VR1000-200nn" version (CHF 629) is the "consumer" version and the slightly more expensive only "HP Reverb" is the "pro" version. Technically there is no difference; the same headset with the same controllers. Only of some gadget, didn't understand what, it said that it is only included with the "pro" version. I had the cheaper version and couldn't miss anything that wasn't included.
As far as I know, the Pro has a replaceable leather faceplate instead of the foam-like thing in the consumer version and the connection cable is mini-DP with adapter instead of the normal Displayport in the consumer version. Otherwise no differences. Answer with reservation though... Info comes from some reviews. I ordered mine about 6 months ago and it was, as far as I can tell, one from the first badge. Headphones gave me problems from the start (loose contact), but I don't care as I put my own on anyway. I don't have any of the other problems described, such as dead pixels, loose contact on the cable connectors, etc. All in all, very satisfied. All in all, very satisfied. I use them primarily in DCS World (flightsim). It takes a little time to find the right settings, but then it's a hammer experience.
Please direct your question to HP support. I assume that this spare part is available.
