HP Reverb VR1000-200nn
HP Reverb VR1000-200nn
Can anyone explain this HP Reverb lineup to me? There is an HP reverb and an HP Reverb VR1000-200nn. On the internet I only find information about the HP Reverb Pro and supposedly a new version is coming out(?). Can someone enlighten me, because I would be very interested in the product itself.
And is this the first badge of the HP Reverb? I read that the first models have massive problems.
As far as I know, the Pro has a replaceable leather faceplate instead of the foam-like thing in the consumer version and the connection cable is mini-DP with adapter instead of the normal Displayport in the consumer version. Otherwise no differences. Answer with reservation though... Info comes from some reviews.
I ordered mine about 6 months ago and it was, as far as I can tell, one from the first badge. Headphones gave me problems from the start (loose contact), but I don't care as I put my own on anyway. I don't have any of the other problems described, such as dead pixels, loose contact on the cable connectors, etc. All in all, very satisfied. All in all, very satisfied. I use them primarily in DCS World (flightsim). It takes a little time to find the right settings, but then it's a hammer experience.
