I heard about this issue with the HP 250 G5. Try to update the bios first, if that doesn't help try to control the fan speed with a Third Party Tool like NBFC.
This is a Swiss keyboard, so yes, French/Swiss German....
Hello Antonia, unfortunately I can't help you but I was just upset about it again yesterday. I have exactly the same problem, or rather I can't even work without a power connection. I think it's very poor quality and I wouldn't buy it again. It is also very loud while it is running. (Ventilation)
Yes, the unit has a CD drive!
The model is a bit older, yes. That may be why it is no longer listed on the manufacturer's website. According to my information, the battery life is approx. 4.5h - 6h, depending on use/screen brightness/WLAN active/etc.
There is no HD installed, an SSD with 256 GB of memory is fitted. Click on "Show more" for specifications
1366 x 768 is correct. The description under the title on the French page is wrong.
The quick link to the HP page says yes: https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-250-g5-notebook-pc/10180321/manuals I have not opened the model myself (many screws), but see the largest of the linked documents (Maintenance and Service Guide). Since an m.2 is installed, there should still be room for an additional 2.5" HD (p.31). However, you still need a "Hard Drive Spare Kit" (p.35) for connections and mounting.
Unfortunately, a device with the same specifications is not available with Full HD resolution. You can find similar alternatives with Full HD at the following link: https://www.digitec.ch/de/Comparison/5979249-5979254
Should be possible According to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-xEn6RIb_5E and http://www.crucial.com/usa/en/compatible-upgrade-for/HP---Compaq/hp-250-g5--(intel-core-i3-5005u)#ssdResults Unfortunately, I can't check it myself.
At maximum graphics settings and during combat the FPS are at least 70 and maximum 90 FPS so playable without problems fast laptop thanks to SSD and lots of multitasking thanks to 8GB Ram
