Do you just plug it in and it works or do you have to install software? I have a model here with RS232, it's a bit complicated and even needs external power supply.

Can the Honeywell Eclipse MS5145 transfer data to an iPad pro ?

As the barcode reader has a USB port, it cannot be connected directly to an iPad Pro, as far as I know.

Can an alphabetical code (such as VKJAVBN) be read in addition to a BAR code?
