Yes, that is possible. I have linked 3 units with each other. You can even assign different ring tones.
By the way: The button cells in the bell buttons quickly have trouble in winter temperatures and have to be changed often.

That's exactly how it is. The thing is a completely normal radio door chime. You press the button and the receiver then rings in the desired tone. I find it very practical that you can not only set the ring tones, but also a flashing light on the receiver.
The chime has no intercom function.
