It needs a normal large lamp socket. You need Wi-Fi to be able to use the bulb to its full extent via the app. I can't give any information about the Home app because I don't use it. The light from the lamp is less stable and flickers in places. The app still has slight bugs. For example, it is best to delete and recreate schedules instead of just adjusting them.

According to the manufacturer, this lamp is unfortunately not compatible with "Philips Hue".
