To both questions - No, you can't. DAB+ can only be operated via the touch control on the surface. And this leads to a total crash every three to four days, at least on my device, i.e. it hangs up and has to be removed from the socket and the backup battery removed in order to restart it. I had already got a new unit, but it was no use. But I kept it because it sounds good and looks good. That's why I now listen to the radio via TuneIn. That works with the voice control.
