The LED strip of the Govee LED Strip 2 Pro has a width of 12 mm and has an adhesive tape on the back. The connection set (everything is white, including the transformer) consists of several parts (all cable lengths are measured without connectors): Power cable (mains cable with Euro plug, 2-pin plug, C7-T26), length approx. 110 cm. This cable could therefore be replaced by a longer cable. Connection cable from transformer to switch, length approx. 140 cm. Connection cable from switch to transformer, length approx. 15 cm Connection cable from switch to LED strip, length approx. 100 cm. Transformer dimensions approx.: 12 cm x 5 cm x 3 cm. An aluminium profile exactly matching the width of 12 mm for the Govee LED Strip 2 is available e.g. from Paulmann (one LED strip can be glued into each side of the aluminium profile): Paulmann 70262 Delta (L x W) 100 cm x 2 cm or Paulmann 70261 Delta (L x W) 200 cm x 2 cm

No, there are no soldering pads. You can only cut them off every 10cm. These strips are not suitable for soldering. Greetings

The strip is designed as one continuous system: one controller + one power supply. If you cut it, you break the circuit and lose the controller/power distribution for the separated pieces. That’s why Govee doesn’t offer extra standalone controllers or power supplies for cut-off sections, the cut lines are only there so you can shorten the strip for a better fit, not to reuse the offcut elsewhere.
