If I cut it in smaller chunks, how can I power them if I want to use them in different places? I cannot find any separate controller...

The strip is designed as one continuous system: one controller + one power supply. If you cut it, you break the circuit and lose the controller/power distribution for the separated pieces. That’s why Govee doesn’t offer extra standalone controllers or power supplies for cut-off sections, the cut lines are only there so you can shorten the strip for a better fit, not to reuse the offcut elsewhere.
