Questions about Gigaset Handset S700H pro

The Gigaset S700H Pro handset is a DECT handset that is compatible with DECT base stations. It does not work directly with the Salt Fibre Office Pro Box as this box is not a DECT base station. The Gigaset S700H Pro handset requires a compatible DECT base station, such as the Gigaset S30852 base station, to function properly.

The S700H Pro is only compatible with base stations from the Gigaset "Pro" series (e.g. N510IP Pro, N670 IP Pro, N870 IP Pro, N610 IP Pro, usually as part of a professional system. With other base stations or routers with a DECT base, either no or only basic functions are possible. The choice of DECT handset has no influence on the phone number. If you ask this question, the S700H is most likely not the right choice.

This is a DECT telephone unit that requires a base station (as I understand it from Gigaset, not included) so that you can make calls either via analogue or ISDN (if that still exists) or via cable.
