There are 2 types of handsets in the AS690 series, the -H and the -HX variant. Both work on the base station. The HX is slightly better equipped in the software. Gigaset was also unable to explain to me why only the -H part is supplied with a base station (at Galaxus). No choice. I have now bought two more -HX parts because of the better software. The two H parts are obsolete for me.
