No, it's not that "blatantly" bent. What does FARther away mean? In principle, you should not be further away from the monitor than the radius of the monitor. In this case, 1.5 metres (R1500). However, I generally only find curved monitors good for gaming, as all programme windows look "bent" at first. Gigabyte's service is also a joke, my monitor was defective after 4-5 months, I sent it in and it took almost 2 months before I got my money back. So my opinion is that curved is great for gaming, but I would keep my hands off Gigabyte. VG Andi
