Quite good, in my opinion. I always tuck it under the waistband of the bustier or sports bra, then it sits nicely. But with long distances and sweat, it does get a bit red. I therefore usually only use it for swimming and otherwise determine the HR via wrist measurement.
Hello Margaretha. The heart rate belt has nothing to do with the mobile phone, but connects to the watch (pairing). If you have the Garmin Connect app on your phone and have connected it to your watch, it will take over all the data. Hope this helps you
I have been using this belt for 2 years. Still works perfectly after about 800 hours on the bike. Rinse the belt and sensor with clean water after every ride.
Hello Gohardorgo,
Yes, the strap is compatible with the fenix 5x. Since a chest strap can have ekg accuracy, it is much more precise than the optical measurement on the wrist. Therefore, the chest strap is recommended especially for sporting activities. Depending on the type of sport, however, a different version would be suitable to take full advantage of the functions of the fenix. hrm run and hrm tri, for example, can also record additional running data, and hrm swim and hrm tri work under water.
I hope this helps you.
Kind regards
No. The Garmin have ANT protocols (protocols for fitness devices) and Apple does not have these. Therefore not compatible:
https://www.itwissen.info/ANT-plus-A...
The HRM-TRI chest strap has additional functions:
- Accelerometer to capture stride rate, ground contact time and vertical movement of the torso.
- HRM-Tri stores heart rate data when under water and sends it to the device after surfacing
The belt uses the "ANT+" standard. If your mobile phone supports this, you can use it directly with it. Here is a list: https://www.thisisant.com/directory...
Hi. Of course it is. It is an Ant+ device, fully compatible with Vivoactive. If you are not sure, you can always get the vivoactive with the band included in the bundle. Shipping times are always the same. 1 to 2 days as a rule.
The Fenix 5 has an optical heart rate monitor. However, due to the system (also with all other manufacturers), this does not work equally well for all people. Measurement with a chest strap is always more accurate.
