Hello, I have the same problem! After consulting with a Garmin sales representative, it is more or less certain that this is an Asian product, as there is currently a supply bottleneck in the European region (available again at the end of the month). The German language pack cannot be loaded onto the watch!!! I then contacted Digitec, the employee was of the opinion that I was probably the only person with an "Asian watch", something had gone wrong. Digitec will get back to me within 48 h with a solution. By the way, the European topo map is not on the watch either (check it out, only the Asian countries are on there). I would also contact them in your case so that an exchange can be made. I am curious :-)

I bought the product "INF silicone watch strap Garmin Forerunner 945/935, Garmin Fenix 5" via the online marketplace and am satisfied. Unfortunately, the product is no longer available on the platform I used. But it should still be possible to find it.

Unfortunately not, according to Garmin this is not possible. After some research, we do not offer any models with this specification.

The display is big and well done, but unfortunately we don’t use the navigation features on the watch.
I interpret the text for import as meaning that they are basically EU versions and only if these are not available do they occasionally resort to import versions. If it doesn't fit, you still have the 30-day right of return at Digitec Galaxus AG (used with 10% discount).
It is the same model, but only in English and without maps of Europe.
The map of Europe was already installed and updating also worked.

Hi, I used it for alpine skiing and had no issues. It autopaused when I was not moving and resumed when I resumed skiing. It also recognized if I was on a lift and then auto finish the previous downhill. I just had to push the start button at the beginning and stop at the end of my skiing day.
Unfortunately, I have no experience with this. But they did write specifically to get in touch with them via support.garmin.com - if that does not work, you could open a service case in your customer account (if you still have warranty coverage) and link everything important, send it in and see if Garmin in Switzerland handles it that way. But if it is not handled as a warranty case, you might have to pay expenses. :-(
