At least directly at Garmin Switzerland, the 6S Pro is also available with sapphire glass: https://www.garminshop.ch/Sport-und-Training/Laufen-und-weitere-Sportarten/fenix-6S-Pro-SAPPHIRE-Schwarz-mit-schwarzem-Silikonband.html
I think sweat is almost more toxic than seawater and I have been using the watch for over a year now, even in salt water. The pins and the whole watch are in tip-top condition, no corrosion, nothing.
I bought the watch for my partner and it has sapphire crystal. But not the Pro. Unfortunately, that's all I know.
Hello, unfortunately this clock has already been sold. Nevertheless, thank you for your interest. Greetings
the model with the sapphire crystal is PRO only :) there is no non-PRO sapphire model
The manufacturer's number given should already match the product. In other words, you will get the watch with this coating. Digitec is generally cheaper than other providers. If in doubt, you can always return the watch.
The constellation you mentioned does not exist. There is a Fenix 6 Pro and a Fenix 6 Pro Sapphire. The difference is only in the glass used. If you omit the Pro, however, this also affects the features of the watch. For example, the "normal" models (without Pro) do not have top cards, etc.
Yes, that works. However, you have to load the playlist onto the clock.
6S is non-officially targeted at woman, cause its smaller. I bought 6 Sapphire after previously owning Fenix 3. Best choice ever. I highly recommend. 6X is to big.
Indeed, the Sapphire version is only in "Pro" version! The "pro" versions have integrated mapping.
That is correct, yes.
Yes, the Sapphire version is only available as PRO with the features mentioned.
No, the watch does not have a touchscreen. Compared to its predecessor, however, it can be operated much more intuitively via the buttons.
Yes, the only difference is the sapphire-glass. Sapphire-Glass is a lot harder and way more scratch resistant then Gorilla Glass 3. It is considered premium on normal watches. I wouldn't pay the extra 250 just for the sapphire for several reasons. 1. Lifespan: -The fact that it is a smartwatch and it uses a rechargeable battery means that the battery will wear out over time, so you won't be able to use it forever (few years) unless there is a option to replace the battery. - It runs with a software. And sooner or later, Garmin will probably stop to roll out updates and it will become outdated 2. Usage: Eventho I am a active person (I go runnning, climbing, hiking, travelling, etc) and a lot outdoors, my watch (with normal glass) has nearly no scratches. Just because there isn't a lot that is hard and strong enough that gets close enough to my wrist to scratch it. You really have to expose it to a lot, to damage it a lot. So I think, sapphire-glass watches are only usefull on "normal" watches that still work decades later and don't get outdated very fast. Any smartwatch will probably be obsolete in a few years. That is just my opinion and thoughts about it, others my think different. And also: The things that I am saying are not 100% facts, that are just my observations and experiences. Again, others my think differently.
We have sent the error to our responsible department, thank you :).
