Question about Garmin Fenix 6 Sapphire
Garmin Fenix 6 Sapphire Apparently, the slot under the watch with 4 small pins for charging is not protected. Isn't there a risk of corrosion from sea water or am I missing a small protective cap?

I think sweat is almost more toxic than seawater and I have been using the watch for over a year now, even in salt water. The pins and the whole watch are in tip-top condition, no corrosion, nothing.
I have been wearing the watch every day for a year and have been swimming in the sea with it several times. There are no problems! But I have heard that some people have problems with the plastic of the heart rate sensor. I think it is important to wear the watch regularly in the shower to rinse off the sweat. I also make sure not to put sunscreen on the skin under the watch. It is a top watch!
